I enjoy taking photographs and am always framing pictures in my mind. Prior to this appointment, I have mostly taken those of places Jim and I have visited, the beauty of nature that surrounds us.

In November 2015, I became a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. So very hard to believe. I served as the Worthy Matron of Bay State Chapter No. 160 in 1969-70, as well as their Chapter Secretary for many years. I have served as Secretary of Palestine Chapter No. 114 for 17 years. I thank the members of Palestine Chapter for giving me the amazing honor and title of Secretary Emeritus.  I served as Worthy Matron of Palestine Chapter No. 114, in 2021-22.

As Secretary, I created a Chapter website and Facebook page and I've shared, through photography, our Chapter goings-on with our members and, in my travels, photographing people and events in a fun and casual way.

Many of our Grand Chapter Officers have received my photos as gifts with the hope that each may have found a place in their book of memories.

In my wildest dreams I would never have imagined doing what I am doing for the members and officers of this jurisdiction.  It has given me so much pleasure.

Photographing for the Grand Chapter is challenging, as I am always trying to capture a moment, a memory, in just an instant of time. I enjoy and love the members of our Order and have appreciated their patience with me and my camera over the years.
